We have Japanese dentists that are familiar with the challenges that families from Japan can face during their transition to life in Westchester, and Long Island.

Rie Inaba, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Rie Inaba is the eldest daughter of Dr. Takekazu Inaba. She met her husband, Dr. Rhee while in dental school in California but they grew up just 30 minutes from each other in New York! She also works part time at a dental clinic specializing in treating people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She enjoys hiking with Dr. Rhee and their cat, Nori, skiing, and all kinds of outdoor activities. Dr. Rie strives to provide family-oriented dentistry focusing on patient comfort, communication, and quality dentistry.

Rina Inaba, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Rina Inaba met her husband Dr. Penners during dental school in Loma Linda, California. She completed her general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital. She is also a part time faculty at Touro College of Dental Medicine. When Dr. Rina Inaba is not working, she enjoys cooking, camping, and film photography! She hopes to provide quality, individualized care for her patients at Inaba Dental Office.

Matthew Rhee, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Rhee and Dr. Rie Inaba are both New York natives that met for the first time during dental school in Loma Linda, CA. They moved back to New York together with their cat, Nori. Dr. Rhee, Dr. Rie Inaba, and their cat enjoy long hikes, and all kinds of outdoor activities. Dr. Rhee joined the Inaba Dental Office practice and brings his training from his residency to provide quality and compassionate care to his patients. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has received additional training in dental implants, bone regeneration, and other surgical procedures.

Joshua Penners, DDS
General Dentist
Dr. Joshua Penners was born and raised in California. As a California native, he loves the ocean and enjoys visiting national parks. He moved to New York after graduating from Loma Linda and completed a general practice residency program at the Brooklyn VA. Dr. Penners is currently working at the Bronx VA as a second year general practice resident where he is gaining more experience in surgical prosthodontic and periodontic procedures. He hopes to provide comprehensive care that restores oral health in the context of the whole person.

Miji Inaba
Office Manager
Miji Inaba started Inaba Dental Office with her husband, Dr. Takekazu Inaba. In addition to making sure that all the business aspects of the practice are functioning in an orderly and proficient manner, Miji is also responsible for filing insurance claims on the patient’s behalf to optimize the reimbursement of their coverage.
When she’s not at the office, Miji loves to cook and try out new recipes. She looks forward to welcoming you to Inaba Dental!

Nami Colagrosso
Nami has been a part of the Inaba Dental team for over 20 years! Nami grew up in Mie, Japan, known for the Ise Grand Shrine, one of Japan’s holiest sites. She was a clinical instructor at a dental hygiene school in Japan before coming to New York. Nami enjoys reading and baking during her off time. Her favorite part about being at Inaba Dental is that she gets to be with the patients during every step of their treatment and help patients feel well cared for and comfortable.
